Parts of downtown Flint lose electrical service

Authorities say power has been restored to parts of downtown Flint that were blacked out due to the water lingering from last week's flooding.

CMS Energy Corp. There also were several traffic lights out in the downtown area.

A storm that hit lower Michigan on Thursday and Friday dumped more than 5 inches of rain around and about Flint. The blackout hit about 8 a.
