Haier looks ahead to increase market base in Kashmir

In a bid to expand its market base in Kashmir, Haier " a leading electrical appliances company, Wednesday organized a dealers" meet at a local hotel here. The company also announced its renewed focus on the microwaves and dishwashers category with new offerings.

City Star Electronics, Distributor of Sansui items in Srinagar had hosted the meet.

Owner, City Star Electronics, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat said: "The popularity of Haier products is increasing day by day.

Handoo said: "We are here to showcase number of new items of our company and also create a bond between our esteemed dealers and the company management.

Speaking on the occasion, Regional Head of Haier, Rakesh Handoo said: "Sansui is ranked number one electrical appliance company for last consecutive three years through the world.

"Products of Haier are affordable and are of good quality.

He said that since its entry into India, Haier has launched a comprehensive range of consumer electronics and home appliances like LED/LCD TV"s, Water Heaters, Refrigerators, Washing Machines and Small Appliances.

The company showcased different products and gave information about its new products to the dealers.

In the beginning of 2011 Haier announced its entry into three new product categories in India viz.

Pertinently, Haier India is a one hundred percent subsidiary of Haier Group, which is one of the fastest growing consumer durables companies in the world. While company is trying its best in promoting other items of the company as well. While talking about its range of products, Manzoor said: "At this time Haier is doing business in refrigerator and de-freezers.

The company initiated its commercial operations in January 2004.

Haier India is recognised for its launch of BMR technology for the first time in India followed by the Double Drive which was a patented technology.
